Like We're Doing Something Wrong.

Those days when nothing looks as right
   as your hand in mine
   our fingers intertwined
   lost in each others' eyes
Makes me forget
   that to most of the world
   we're sinners
   not lovers
Until I see the heads
   turned our way
   bringing hushed whispers
   like we're doing something wrong
But then you squeeze my hand
   and I flood with warmth
   take a deep breath
   and smile like only you can make me do.
